PlayPadel.ie exists because padel in Ireland has a problem: everyone thinks they're a 7. Booking a court is solved — Playtomic, MATCHi and WePadel handle that, and Playtomic even tracks your level (set at sign-up, then nudged as you win and lose). What's still thin is the independent layer around the game: what level you are without tying it to a booking account, how the game actually works, what gear suits you, and where the Irish community plays.
So we built the Irish Padel Level Test for an honest, shareable answer to “what level am I?” — no booking account required — then added 23 plain-English guides, 86 researched venues, and a community directory covering the whole island.
The test doesn't stop at a number. Your result becomes a free 4-week practice plan built from your five skill scores, backed by 34 drills with measurable targets — and when you re-test, you can compare the two results skill by skill. No account: the share link carries everything.

How we verify
We only count a venue as operationalonce it's open and bookable. Another ~25 are coming soonand aren't included in our totals.
Of our 86 venues, 76 are fully verified and 10are partially verified — for example, Woodlands Hotel in Waterford is counted as 2 outdoor courts (partial — confirm with the hotel before travelling). Sources include PFI's club finder, Playtomic, PadelCourts.ie and individual club websites; community and guides come from clubs, WhatsApp and Facebook groups, FIP/LTA rules, and Premier Padel broadcasts.
Nothing publishes without review. No paid rankings, no brand endorsements, no affiliate commissions — if a venue is bad, we won't list it.
