Playtomic tracks a level. It is set at sign-up, then nudged as you win and lose. On their scale, 7 is the top.
What's still thin is an independent layer: your level without a booking account, how the game works, what gear suits you, and where people play in Ireland.
The Irish Padel Level Test is a shareable answer to “what level am I?”. It does not need a booking account.
It is about three minutes, adaptive, up to 12 screens. The test does not award Elite.
Beside the test there are 7 plain-English guides and 96 researched venues.
The community directory lists 27 groups across 13 counties. 15 of 28 counties with courts have no listed group yet.
The test does not stop at a number.
Your result becomes a free 4-week plan: one focus a week and a game every week, to work on with a qualified coach at your club.
Optional warm-ups: 43 drills with measurable targets, best with a coach.
When you re-test, you can compare the two results skill by skill.
There is no account. The share link carries the result.

- A generic sports blog: every guide is about padel
How a listing gets on the site
Today that is 96 operational venues with 338 listed courts across 28 counties, island-wide, and 7 plain-English guides.

How we verify
We only count a venue as operational once it's open and bookable. Another ~11 are Opening soon and aren't included in our totals.
Of our 96 venues, 75 were checked on 1 Oct 2026 and 21 are partial.
Sources include PFI's club finder, Playtomic, PadelCourts.ie and individual club websites.
Community listings and guides come from clubs, WhatsApp and Facebook groups, FIP and LTA rules, and Premier Padel broadcasts.
Nothing publishes without review.
Listings are not paid placement.
There are no brand endorsements and no affiliate commissions.
How we check listings
Each venue record has a source and the date it was checked.
An addition or a change is checked at the club's own site or booking page.
Third-party lists are tips only: Openplay's public monthly roundups, PFI listings, and emails we receive.
We do not copy a competitor's compiled list.
