Chiquita under pressure

Success target: 6 of 10 chiquitas force a below-net-height volley.

How to run it

  1. 01Partner stands at the net; you're at the back with a basket.
  2. 02Feed yourself and play chiquitas — slow, low balls that land at the net player's feet.
  3. 03Partner volleys anything too high back hard; a good chiquita earns a soft reply.
  4. 0410 chiquitas, then swap.

Why it works

The chiquita is controlled aggression — it attacks the net pair with softness, and softness under pressure is trained, not born.
