Volley-to-volley exchange

Success target: 20 consecutive volleys without the ball touching the ground.

How to run it

  1. 01Both players at the net, three metres apart, one ball.
  2. 02Soft continuous volleys to each other's racket side — control, not winners.
  3. 03Keep the racket head up and the swing short: it's a push, not a hit.
  4. 04At 15 in a row, take one step back each and repeat.

Why it works

Volley reflexes are pure repetition — two minutes of volley-to-volley gives you more net touches than three full matches.
